Campbook

Hi everyone!

Here I'd like to share with you what I've recently made.
It's a kind of sketchbook to accompany me to the camp I'm going to. It has come out a little bigger than I used to make, but it's nice because I'll have more creative freedom :)

I used craft brown paper for the pages, orange cardboard for the cover and dark red paper for the envelope inside.  All the creatures are drawn with a black gel pen.
The beetle inside is my favourite detail :) I'd open that envelope again and again haha :)

Hope you're enjoying your summer!

Bye,
Ann

Travelbook

Hi everybody!

Summertime is wonderful because it's a great opportunity to travel, the weather is nice and you are free.

So here are some bits and pieces from another travel book, from the cover it's easy to understand my route.
It was a really very very interesting and exciting trip. Every city is very beautiful, but Tallinn left a very deep and lasting impression, it was truly amazing. I love Tallinn now with all my heart :)

Sometimes I had to finish some drawings later in my cabin not to lose time drawing all the windows of this or that building.

All the collage elements were added when I came back home. I mostly used tickets and paper booklets and leaflets they handed out in the streets. It's a really good way of using them, because some of them are really nice and funny.

Hope you're having fun!

Love,
Ann

Moscow in Sketches

Hi, folks!

Haven't been blogging for long, though I still spend a lot of time in the Internet and I wish I did less.
Here's my travelbook from my short stay in Moscow.
These 2 days were really very full of events and nice moments. Visiting art museums and seeing the pictures you know by reproductions in art books is fantastic.

The amount of beauty I saw was overwhelming. Everything was beautiful, from streets, parks, cathedrals, the Kremlin, to antique statues at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts

And of course after walking the whole day long my legs were totally tired. So while sitting on a bench and having a short break I took out of my bag this travelbook and drew what was around me at the moment.

At the end I shared some thoughts about the trip not to forget it too soon and piled all the memorable stuff like museum tickets, metro cards and what not. It will be nice to look them through when I'm 64 :)

Soon summer will be in  full swing, so hope you're having a good time!

With love,
Ann

From Kiev with Love

Hello, friends!

Haven't been here for a long time. Studies and so on. But I visited Kiev and here is my travelbook with sketches and some writing. It was a great fun to be there. I like the idea of drawing and writing what you saw to recall it from time to time and to share with friends.

Hope you are doing well :)

Best wishes,
Ann
